Some of my favorite things.

Creating enjoyable spaces within the home is one of my many loves.  At least once a month D and I spend an afternoon digging through our local antique village, the original downtown that is now a series of vintage and antique shops.

Here are some of our recent finds:

A 1950s Kodak camera to add to my old camera collection.
An adorable little French iron globe.
Japanese fishing floats with the netting still attached.

I didn't pick up my new lens at an antique shop, but it's definitely one of my favorite things at the moment.  Love it!

Featured in the next installment of Favorite Things:  a collection of vintage seltzer bottles and a 1924 typewriter!

Loving the old camera and the globe. Camera reminds me of those old newspaper pics...

Those old accordion cameras are cool, aren't they? They definitely speak to another era long ago. Hard to imagine that they were still making those cameras when my parents were born.
