This week the Christmas decor is going back into its designated boxes. I figured that I'd better put the final festive shots up on the blog before it's all gone. I mentioned in this post that I made a burlap table runner, but I never got a decent photo of it.
Here it is.
Until this weekend. Ok, so I wasn't entirely useless last week. I was hoping that the funky crimps would naturally fall out of the fringe over time, but they never did. Plus it kept sticking together in annoying ways. I decided to knot it into sections.
Much better and I love it! I think it's been saved from the horrible fate of being shoved back into boxes along with the rest of the holiday paraphernalia. It's staying on the table for now.
I also never got around to shooting many photos of the clay ornaments I made for the tree. Here are more.
Stay tuned later this week for photos of the homemade Christmas gifts. And maybe some of my resolutions for the year, of which there are many.
Happy 2012!

I love the runner with the knotted ends too! Much better! And very nice ornaments, I'm a fan of the interesting fonts.
My niece made me a card and the writing inside looked like a 6 yr old did it. She's 12! Apparently, handwriting in school is a thing of the past. These fonts remind me of the old school days.
Next, they'll be handing in papers looking like this..
IMHO that is the only answer but MHO doesn't mean much so WTH. LOL.
Seriously, my handwriting sucked but it looked so much better than whatever it was she was attempting.
Anyway, back on track, lovely art! Glad you are at least feeling a little better!
Oh I know! Not only has the handwriting got worse, but they don't teach cursive much anymore. Or at least it's not a priority like it was when we were kids. It's crazy! And the grammar is atrocious these days too. Because of all the texting, facebooking, twittering, etc. I'm soooooo glad social media did not exist when I was a kid. I'd be extremely embarrassed by what some kids put out there these days.
