As my Photography skills have increased over the past year I've finally gotten to the point where I can create semi decent typography art.
Here are some of the pieces that I gave as gifts this Christmas.
Here they are framed. The photos were taken at an angle because of the glare and reflection from the glass.
Not too shabby, eh? I think I'm ready for my etsy shop. ;-)

Very nice! I liked the wrapping and I used tissue paper/bubble wrap and brown paper wrap as well but trust me, it didn't look like yours. I like your "sunshine" one best. I was always a sucker for that song.
These are the kinds of gifts I prefer. My family does this generic gift thing that is just ridiculous. I did it for 1 yr then said never again. $20 limit and you buy a generic gift. You pick #'s to see who goes first, then if you don't like yours you can "steal" from someone else (based on what order you are with the #'s ) It's so impersonal and lazy and my cousin ended up buying himself an ecomomics book he KNEW no one else would want so of course he snagged it for himself. Laziest gift giving ever.
And you're making me want a name tag! lol
Very pretty stuff, I'm glad you had so much fun with it, it's what it's all about.
Your cousin is smart! I've never been a fan of swaps, secret santa, or pick-a-name types of gift giving. I'd rather just not exchange gifts at all.
Right. It's totally lazy and insincere IMO. Oh, I would have kicked my cousin out of the swap for a yr for doing that. Best part is, his MOM made the rules. "Generic" was so no one could get away with doing just what he did, then of course, she didn't say anything to him about it.
I'm so glad I only buy for Mom now. Keeps me focused and I like only worrying about buying for one.
