Happy birthday!

Awww...my blog is growing up.  She's no longer a baby.  I intended to steal a photo of a birthday cake to celebrate, but the sprinkled donut proved entirely too tasty to ignore.

Hard to believe it's been a year all ready.  When I started this blog I told myself that I'd stick with it, but I know I didn't believe that, even in the middle of saying it.  I'm not sure why.  Maybe I thought I'd lose interest or that I wouldn't be able to take all the sharing.  I'm thrilled to prove myself wrong.

The plan for today was to unveil a new header, but it'll have to wait at least a few more weeks.  Maybe months. As I alluded in my last post, I've been busy with projects lately, several of which are time sensitive.  Because of that I wasn't able to do the header. 

I could have taken a few hours to whip one up to slap on the blog, but why bother?  I'd hated it and have to redo it anyway.  Might as well wait and do it right the first time.  

New goal date:  my own birthday at the end of May.  No excuses!
