Spring flowers.

Pardon another script interruption.

Yesterday I stood bent over a folding card table underneath a budding magnolia tree making a spring wreath for my mother.

I think I like it even better than my Christmas wreaths.

Now back to act one, which will get finished this week.

Wow! All that in an afternoon! Awesome! Not a bad way to spend the day!

Make those and start charging..seriously, great way for extra cash

It was a beautiful day too, Cindy! Which is why the wreath was made outside. My wreaths would probably cost too much! The materials were not cheap and they were 50% off this week too! I doubt anyone would be willing to pay $100 on a faux floral wreath. I suppose if I was making lots of them it'd be worth it to find a cheaper source for the materials, but no thanks.

Anon, take me to Hobby Lobby next time I visit and I'll make you one! ;-)

Hobby Lobby?? What a great name! It's funny, my Mom used to make wreaths out of corn husks and she said the same thing about supplies. So, I guess it's best to stick to custom orders. Speaking of, when your script is done, how would you like to change the pics on my blog (the 3 on top?) I'm bored of those ones. You can surprise me, I'm not sure how to change them and I liked what you did anyway so feel free if you want something to do! :-)
